Modern Luxury Shower
This remodeled shower space has modern contemporary looks, minimal maintenance and a nearly invisible drain.
We used large format 18" x 18" porcelain tile on the walls and floor - including all the way through the shower floor - which was possible with the use of linear strip drain (no need for compound slope, as is required with a standard type drain).
The floor framing was recessed, to allow the shower to be curbless. This makes accessibility - as well as convenience - much better.
The final detail is the use of epoxy grout. More durable, and easier to clean.
